Roof top Apartment Up to Four people can use this apartment but it works best for two or three . Eat out on the terrace and enjoy the last remaining rays of sun as it sets behind the village in front of you and watch the resident swifts and swallow – also bats at dusk …… who needs TV ?

A light and airy apartment at the top of the house, with a seventies look. It has a simple double room with a garden/ junas village  view. The Lounge has a Stereo with Cds,  sofa bed which sleeps 2 and opens out onto the terrace with a spectacular view of the village and surrounding area.

  • Terrace not overlooked.
  • living room with french doors onto terrace and double sofa bed  25 m2
  • small kitchen with fridge, induction hob, microwave, electric small oven, and table
  • shower room and separate WC

 

With access through the  garden, there are two flights of stairs to get to this apartment.

Tarif  – variable through the season 

May / june and september €65 a night

July and August €700 per week – ( min stay 7 nights peak season)

Things to do : Junas Perfectly situated between Cities, the Carmargues, the sea and the Cevennes with Rivers and ancient villages and waterfalls.

Sommieres (15 min bike) Calvission ( 20 mins) both with great local markets – Sommieres has a wine tasting night market every Monday evening – Food, wine tasting and entertainment. Then a great food/ flower  market on Saturday and Calvisson has a good market on Sunday.

Cycle tracks through the Vendargues ever green oaks and the tarmac old railway line – voie verte linking Nimes to Sommieres

Carmargues and petite Carmargue – horse riding along the beach and in the local forests.

Swimming in Rivers and sandy beaches.

Visit Montpellier or Nimes – with their excellent restaurants and Roman amphitheatres.

JUNAS – hosts a local stone cutting forum with workshops at the beginning of July and The Junas International Jazz festival which takes place in the old disused Roman Quarry at the end of July as well as a small market once a week. Not touristy but near lively places of interest.
